The DJs behind the event series Discoteca Amore have one mission: to bring more love and more house music to the community. Spinning mostly on vinyl, their parties are spaces not just to dance, but to talk and connect. With part of the proceeds going to local charities, the team behind the event spreads its love well beyond the dance floor. Our brief was to design a single poster that could adapt across different touchpoints, from social media to vinyl slipmats. The result is a fresh take for the music scene—a design that captures the events’ positive energy while adding a touch of Italian nostalgia promised by the name.
We built a design system entirely around disco and amore: glowing red tones, soft-bold typography, and a disco ball struck by Cupid’s arrow. While each event takes on its own color, love remains the constant. The pairing of the logo fonts with the Cupid illustration gives the brand strong recognition, while allowing it to playfully adapt across a wide range of touchpoints. For the daytime edition, we turned the illustration into a set of sticker tattoos. Neapolitan pizza and vintage umbrellas from the beaches of Bibione rounded off the perfect Italian summer vibe.
Dancing, talking, connecting, giving back—Discoteca Amore is more than a party, it’s a place to come together. At a time of division, it creates space to share good music and good company. We gave the team an event identity that reflects their vision and sparks amore. Posters across the city draw people in and bring new groups together on the dance floor. For us, spreading love and positivity is always a joy, and supporting a good cause makes it even sweeter.
