Cell therapy and its manufacturing are highly complex and time- and resource-intensive. But the potential is extraordinary: remission rates of over 90% in late-stage blood cancer. The challenge? A single dose can cost more than $300,000. Sarcura is working to make these life-saving treatments accessible by significantly lowering manufacturing costs and scaling down the process to a small modular system. Our task was to communicate both the impact and the underlying technology. Through animated infographics, a brand design refresh, and a new website, we helped Sarcura explain their product and vision more clearly to engage audiences and attract investors. The key challenge was finding the right balance: simplifying the science while preserving the depth needed for credibility.
Our approach to showcasing both the massive potential and the challenges of cell therapy was to use powerful comparisons: over 90% remission rates, but only 3% of patients have access; 27 days of production today, versus only 3 days in the future. By visualizing these contrasts with simple infographics, we made the impact instantly clear. To explain the technology behind Sarcura's manufacturing process, we created an animated infographic using abstract shapes and icons to represent their key innovations. A clean 3D animation of a transforming blood cell serves as a visual anchor—capturing attention and reinforcing the medical context from the start. For the brand refresh, we introduced a new color system and reimagined the existing typography in a bolder, more modern way. The website became the heart of the project, bringing all brand elements together in a professional yet tangible experience. New portraits of the management team added warmth and a personal touch.
Sarcura’s potential impact is bold and hopeful: making blood cancer curable and cell therapy accessible to all. By lowering manufacturing costs to a point where public health systems could afford coverage, this life-saving treatment could reach everyone who needs it. Our goal was to help Sarcura communicate this vision with clarity and credibility, making their impact tangible and their brand trustworthy, especially for potential investors. Update: Unfortunately, Sarcura had to close in early 2025. But we believe their groundbreaking science still has a future and that the vision they pursue will find a way forward.
